Construction & Lien Law
The firm has extensive experience in advising clients involved in the construction industry, including general contractors, subcontractors, owners, architects and engineers. We prepare construction contracts, subcontracts and project documentation, and take a proactive role in advising our clients with respect to their legal rights and obligations before, during, and after the conclusion of the project.
We are active in alternative dispute resolution procedures, as well as in representing clients in the context of arbitration proceedings, mediation, and general litigation. We are experienced in all areas relating to construction industry disputes, including liens, payment and performance bonds, and prosecuting or defending against trust fund claims.
We place special emphasis, whenever possible, on assisting our clients at the inception of the construction project to foresee and reduce, whenever possible, potential disputes before they can arise and to reduce any adverse consequences in the event claims should occur.
