Mr. Rider is a managing partner of the firm and practices primarily in the areas of municipal law, commercial real estate, wills and estates and corporate law. He has been engaged as the attorney for the Town of Highlands and the Town of Highlands Planning Board since 2006. Prior to joining the firm, his practice areas also included contract and tort litigation.

Mr. Rider received his B.A. from Cornell University in 1992 and his J.D. cum laude from Albany Law School in 1995.

A community leader, Mr. Rider serves as the Immediate Past Chairman of the Orange County Citizens Foundation and is an Executive Board Member of the Orange County Partnership. In addition, he is the Vice President of the Board of Temple Beth Jacob and President of the Board of Kol Yisrael. Mr. Rider also serves on the Finance Committee at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center.

Previously, he has served as president of the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands and graduated from the Leadership Orange program in 1999.

Mr. Rider is a member of the New York State and Orange County Bar Associations.
