Ms. Breheney, an avid supporter of the Arts — Newburgh Chamber Music and the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra – received her B.A. in English from St. Francis University, Pennsylvania, and J.D. from New York Law School in New York City.

Ms. Breheney is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and a founding board member of the New York NAELA Chapter.  She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Trust and Estate Section, and Elder Law & Special  Needs Section, and has served on various committees, including Consumer Affairs, Legislative, and Guardianship.  In addition, she is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of State of New York (WBASNY), and active member of the Orange and Sullivan County Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association (WBAOSC) serving on the Judicial Screening Committee for the past 15 years. 

Ms. Breheney is a long-standing member of the board of directors and current Vice President of the Association for Macular Diseases, a nonprofit association that provides support to people who suffer from age-related and other forms of macular degeneration. Ms. Breheney, formerly a partner at Glenn & Breheney P.L.L.C., practices mainly in the areas of Probate and Estate Administration, Special Needs Trusts, Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts, and Estate Planning. 

Ms. Breheney has extensive prior experience in Guardianship proceedings representing petitioners, cross petitioners, guardians, and incapacitated persons, and has served the Court as Court Evaluator and Counsel to the Alleged Incapacitated Person in Article 81 Guardianship proceedings.
