Michael J. Matsler is a partner of the firm and head of the litigation department. Mr. Matsler focuses on litigation involving construction contracts and construction industry dispute resolution, lien law issues, public works and municipal law, employment law, complex commercial and business disputes and dissolutions; and general commercial and business litigation.

Mr. Matsler received his B.A. in French and German from the University of California at Berkeley in 1977 and his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1983, where he was Articles Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review. He practiced law for six years in New York City in the New York City Corporation Counsel’s office and in private practice.

Mr. Matsler is an active member of the Newburgh Rotary Club, where he has served as president. He has also served as president of Independent Living, Inc. and Chairman of the Orange County Red Cross.
